Imagine 7 layers of glass squashed together, in a slow kiln for over 100 hours. With all these colors smashed together, an organic abstract design emerges from the flow of the glass. This piece has a 3D sculptural effect with some bumps and valleys in its design. Of course, it could be taken out of its stand and used as a functional dish. We took the temperature up on this to slump it into its shape, leaving a glossy finish to its face.
